• Holy sequencing

    It's been more than 20 years ago now that I've been living in Berlin. And while I seldom look or go back physically, maybe for a short visit now and then, I often do so in my mind. Especially, when listening to music from the Golden Age of EM, where many of the artists being in synthesized sounds "went" to its School. There are still several artists from the old guard out there, some still producing new music. But many of the space ambient style music nowadays comes from a younger folks. And their take on Berlin style sounds, while surely referencing the ideas of the past, are fresh and current and also timeless. I highly appreciate people committing themselves for a greater good. It does not have to be the big world wide good like a famous schoolgirl running for climate change, although her dedication is admirable and should receive all the support she can. But also doing small things are applaudable, like running a festival for non profit just because you love the music and love to support its fans. The guys from the Electronic Circus are such a lot. And I am very happy they decided to run the event even though it will be difficult to reach the required figures. You will get a tiny impression of their headliner on this show.
